Domain names are offered for sale subject to availability. HyperGUIDE reserves the right to accept or reject any offers, at any price, to purchase the domain names until such time as it accepts an offer in writing. Once its offer has been accepted in writing by HyperGUIDE the purchaser may not withdraw.
Domain names are registered with the relevant naming authority, which records the administrative contact (or similar term) who is, in effect the owner of that domain. By buying a domain name, you become the administrative contact and, therefore, the owner. The domain will be hosted by a provider of such services and HyperGUIDE will supply you with any information (such as user name and password) which might be needed to control that domain at the time of transfer, if you have not already specified these yourself during the transfer process. Continued domain registration is subject to periodic fees which are charged by the naming authority and which become the sole responsibility of the new owner. Current fees are typically £ 20 - £ 50 per annum, but may change. You will be informed by HyperGUIDE of the approximate date (month/year) when these fees are next due.
The purchase of a domain name from HyperGUIDE does not include the purchase of Web space. Usually, at the time of transfer, the web domain will be pointing to a holding page provided by a third party.
In buying the domain name you accept all benefits, responsibilities and liabilities associated with ownership. You indemnify HyperGUIDE against any claims or actions whatsoever which may arise in respect of the use of the domain name. HyperGUIDE certifies that it knows of no such claims or actions at the time of your offer for purchase of the domain name being accepted. HyperGUIDE cannot guarantee that any domain name will be available at all times on the Internet without disruption or cessation as this is outside HyperGUIDE's control. Broadly speaking, you will be in the same position after purchasing a domain name from HyperGUIDE as you would have been in if you had first registered the domain name yourself and there had been no previous owner.
Payment for the domain name must be made in full before the transfer is effected. Where larger sums are involved, the funds may be held in escrow by an independent third party with irrevocable instructions to release the funds to HyperGUIDE immediately the transfer of administrative contact /owner has been registered with the naming authority. Any prices quoted for domain names are exclusive of any VAT which may be due.
By offering to purchase a domain name from HyperGUIDE you are deemed to accept these terms and conditions in their entirety.
